The Central Bank of Chile provides a web service that allows users to query and extract economic information from the Statistical Database (BDE). This service is aimed at developers and analysts and includes documentation and resources to access the series using different programming languages and tools.

The API is a mechanism that facilitates access to the information published in the BDE. From the fifteenth significant digit onward, minor differences may be observed compared to the Excel download, which are explained by the computational representation of numbers and do not correspond to errors or revisions of the official series.
