The Central Bank of Chile offers a free API that allows you to access the information contained in its Statistical Database (BDE) directly and automatically. This service facilitates the consultation and extraction of official economic series through a web service or a Python library.
The API is aimed at students, researchers, analysts, and developers, allowing the integration of BDE data into economic studies, indicator dashboards, applications, and digital platforms. It also enables the automatic updating and publishing of indicators such as the observed dollar (CLP/USD), UF, and UTM, ensuring the use of official, up-to-date, and reliable information. To access this service, you only need to have an account in the BDE and activate API access from your profile.
