The North macrozone includes the regions of Arica y Parinacota, Tarapacá, Antofagasta and Atacama; the Central macrozone contains the Coquimbo and Valparaíso regions; the Central South macrozone includes the Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins, Maule, Ñuble and Biobío regions; the South macrozone contains the regions of La Araucanía, Los Ríos and Los Lagos; the Austral macrozone contains the Aysén del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo and Magallanes y de la Antártica Chilena regions.
